Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the website anders.apartments. Accommodation and booking services fall under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG); we align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA.

State of conformity

During development the website was checked with an automated tool (axe-core) against every page in both languages. Automated checks do not catch everything: a full manual review by people with disabilities has not yet taken place.

What is in place

Visible skip link to the main content
Full keyboard operability with a visible focus outline
Text and controls with sufficient contrast
Alternative text for all meaningful images
Reduced motion when the operating system requests it
Page structure with heading levels, landmarks and language markup
Form fields with permanently visible labels
No content that can only be reached with a pointing device

Known limitations

The availability calendar and the 360 degree tours come from Smoobu and Matterport. We have no influence on their accessibility. Everything you need for a booking, that is prices, occupancy and times, is additionally available as text on each apartment page.
The map on the location page is an image. The address and all routes are given next to it as text.
